Jennifer Rising Kegyes M.A., CCC-SLP is a voice pathologist at the Blaine Block Institute for Voice Analysis and Rehabilitation (BBIVAR) and the Professional Voice Center of Greater Cincinnati (ProVoice Center). She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ohio University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Jennifer also has extensive undergraduate training and performing experience in voice and horn performance. Jennifer’s career with BBIVAR and ProVoice Center began with her internship in 2009 under the mentorship of Dr. Wendy LeBorgne., Ph.D., CCC-SLP.
Jennifer has presented at the state, national and international levels in the areas of voice disorders, paradoxical vocal fold motion (PVFM) and clinician supervision and has co-authored on PVFM in ASHA’s Perspectives on Voice and Voice Disorders.
Jennifer is passionate about preventative voice care and optimizing vocal health in the educator population. Other areas of interest include the aging voice and gender-affirming voice care. She is a strong advocate for telemedicine, serving as the practice’s primary telehealth therapist.
